For an innovative engineering company, we are looking for a Mechanical Technician who enjoys precise mechanical work, complex assemblies, and building machines from the ground up. This is not repetitive assembly line work. Every project is different and every machine is a unique technical challenge.
The company designs and builds advanced mechanical machinery used internationally across multiple industries. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their workshop team.
Your roleAs a Mechanical Technician, you will assemble complex machines and mechanical systems based on technical drawings. Your work requires precision, mechanical insight, and attention to detail.
You will work in a modern, clean workshop alongside engineers and other specialists to build machines that combine mechanical structures, drives, actuators, and precision components.
There is a lot of variety in your work, giving you freedom to tackle different machines, modules, and technical challenges. A structured onboarding program ensures you quickly become familiar with the machines, processes, and team.
Your tasks includeAssembling and disassembling complex mechanical and mechatronic systems
Working with precision mechanical components and structures
Installing drives, actuators, frames, and assemblies
Reading and interpreting mechanical and technical drawings
Carefully aligning and adjusting machine components
Collaborating closely with engineers, electricians, and technicians
Supporting machine testing and preparation for delivery
Occasionally assisting with installations at international customer locations
The quality of your work directly impacts the performance and reliability of the machines.
What you bringTechnical education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field
Experience in machine building, precision assembly, or mechanical systems
Candidates from heavy machinery environments (working with actuators, mechanical systems, or complex assemblies) are also very welcome
Ability to read and work independently from technical drawings
Strong mechanical insight and a hands-on mentality
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good command of English or Dutch
Willingness to occasionally travel internationally is a plus
Salary up to €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience
25 vacation days + 13 ADV days (full-time)
