We are looking for a marine electronics technician to assemble, service, and maintain advanced marine and offshore electronic and electromechanical systems. You will work with a variety of well-known marine instrumentation brands in an environment where precision and reliability matter.
Your role
As a marine electronics technician, you will ensure marine systems perform reliably throughout their lifecycle. You will assemble and test equipment, troubleshoot and repair faults, and contribute to system improvements. You will work closely with engineers from electrical, mechanical, and software disciplines in a compact, skilled team.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and maintain marine electronic and electromechanical systems
- Perform routine inspections and scheduled maintenance on marine instrumentation
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electronic equipment
- Test and calibrate systems to ensure correct operation
- Identify recurring technical issues and suggest practical improvements
- Document maintenance activities, test results, and technical findings
Your profile
You are a hands-on technician who enjoys solving problems and working with complex equipment. You take ownership of your work and value accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
- MBO-level education in electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or marine engineering
- Experience with assembly, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment
- Basic understanding of electromechanical systems
- Interest or experience in marine and offshore technology
- Good command of English (Dutch is an advantage)
- Valid category B driving license
