We are looking for a (Junior) Mechanical Engineer who wants to contribute to the development and improvement of robust mechanical solutions for measurement and instrumentation systems operating in demanding environments.
Your role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in the complete lifecycle of our systems. From initial concepts and detailed design to prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement. You will have real influence on technical decisions and future product developments.
Most of your work will take place at our office and workshop in Utrecht. Occasionally, you will visit client sites within the Netherlands to install, commission, or support systems that you helped design.
What you will do
Engineering & development
- Design mechanical parts and assemblies for marine and offshore applications
- Create and maintain 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Produce technical drawings, bills of materials, and assembly documentation
- Build, test, and refine prototypes
- Work closely with electronics and software engineers on integrated systems
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues
- Continuously improve existing designs and products

Your background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Naval Architecture
- Experience with 3D CAD design, preferably SolidWorks
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing methods
- Affinity with measurement and instrumentation equipment
- Good command of the English language (Dutch is a plus)
- Valid Category B driving license
