Do you love working with your hands and want to learn everything about technical systems — from machinery to climate cells and lab equipment?
We’re looking for a motivated maintenance technician who’s eager to learn and grow. You'll be part of a small, tight-knit technical team within a larger international company. Under the wing of a senior technician, you’ll gain deep insights into a wide variety of systems and gradually take on more responsibility.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, hands-on, and ready to absorb new knowledge every day. Minimum B1-level Dutch is required, as well as the motivation to improve your language skills further.
What will you do?
You’ll support the maintenance and improvement of a diverse range of technical systems — no two days are the same. Together with your team, you’ll keep the facilities running smoothly and help drive innovation on the technical front.
Your work includes:
- Performing maintenance and minor repairs on production machinery and systems
- Supporting installations and commissioning of new machines
- Working on systems in production areas, laboratories, offices, greenhouses, and climate-controlled rooms
- Shadowing a senior technician to learn the ropes — you’ll get thorough, on-the-job training
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults (training provided)
- Assisting with upgrades and continuous improvement projects
- Keeping technical documentation accurate and updated
What you bring
- Affinity with mechanical or electrical engineering— minimum a degree or hands-on experience is a plus
- A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn
- A flexible, all-round attitude — you’re not afraid of variety in your tasks
- Comfort working in a structured yet informal environment
- Dutch at B1 level (or higher), and a willingness to keep learning the language
- English fluency and Dutch at B1 level (or higher), and a willingness to keep learning the language
