Your shift starts in the morning at the DHL Express warehouse in Nieuw-Vennep. You walk onto the work floor and join your colleagues for a short handover. Together you go through the planning, so you know exactly what needs to happen this shift. You check the roster that was shared about a week ago and see which zone is yours today. With clear tasks and a structured environment, you feel ready to get moving.
First you start with unloading the roll containers and taking out the packages. You sort them and place each shipment in the right spot in the warehouse. Then you scan the packages and check the labels, numbers and any visible damage. When orders are complete, you collect them and make them ready for the couriers. You keep your area tidy, safe and easy to oversee, so everyone can work smoothly. During the shift you talk with your team leader and colleagues, align on the planning and help each other to stay on track. At the end of your hours, you look around the organised warehouse and feel satisfied that every shipment is ready to go out on time.

- Available at least 3 flexible night shifts per week
