Healthcare Psychologist (GZ Psychologist) – International Client Population

The Hague | 24–36 hours per week

Are you a BIG-registered GZ Psychologist who feels comfortable working in a fully English-speaking treatment environment? For a specialised mental healthcare organisation in The Hague, we are looking for an experienced GZ Psychologist to work with expats, internationals and other English-speaking clients.

In this role, you will work exclusively with an international client population, making an excellent command of English essential. You will join a multidisciplinary team where high-quality, evidence-based care and personal attention are key.

As a GZ Psychologist, you will act as the coordinating clinician (regiebehandelaar) and support clients throughout their entire treatment journey. You will work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting intake interviews in English
• Carrying out psychodiagnostic assessments
• Developing, implementing and evaluating treatment plans
• Providing individual therapy sessions
• Using e-health solutions as part of treatment programmes
• Acting as the coordinating clinician
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Supervising and supporting colleagues and GZ Psychologists in training
• Maintaining relationships with international referrers and healthcare partners
• Contributing to the development of treatment programmes and the overall quality of care

You are an experienced GZ Psychologist who enjoys working in an international and professional environment. You communicate confidently in English, work independently and value both quality and collaboration.

You have:

• Completed training as a GZ Psychologist
• A valid BIG registration
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a GZ Psychologist
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written
• Good command of Dutch
• Experience with evidence-based treatment methods
• A proactive, independent and entrepreneurial approach
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
