Six restaurants. Six dishes. One afternoon, every dish with a pairing to match. An introduction to a city's food scene, and to the people shaping it.
We have been making those introductions in the Netherlands as WijnSpijs since 2013. Table6 carries the same standards into the UK and Germany.
The Netherlands is where we started and it is still the market we know best. Keeping it that way takes a steady stream of content: Dutch restaurants and creators to find and contact, footage and photography to collect and label, stories filmed on event days, posts prepared and checked after they go out. We are looking for a Marketing & Content Intern to work on all of it with us.
The briefs, templates and guidelines already exist, so you are never starting from a blank page. You will use them from week one and take on more of the work yourself as you go. Most of what you do will be in Dutch.
You will report to our Marketing Lead. The internship is hybrid, with agreed office days in Haarlem.
Tasks
- Research restaurants, creators, photographers and videographers, and build shortlists against the criteria the marketing team gives you.
- Contact them, ask for footage, and follow up until it arrives.
- Come to selected events, including some Sundays, and film dishes, pairings, guest moments and the walk between restaurants to a short brief.
- Upload, name and label everything in Notion and Google Drive, so an editor can find it without asking you.
- Watch what our restaurant partners post, respond where it makes sense, and flag anything the marketing team should see.
- Prepare approved posts for scheduling, with captions, tags, links and locations, and check afterwards that they went out properly.
In your first weeks you and your Marketing Lead agree what you want out of the internship and what you will own by the end of it.
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch and strong English, written and spoken.
- Enrolled in a relevant study, and available full time for at least four months.
- Organised and accurate, with several requests and deadlines running at once.
- Comfortable writing to restaurants and creators yourself, and confident enough to ask when something falls outside the guidelines.
- At home on social platforms, and comfortable with Google Drive and simple spreadsheets.
- Available for selected Sunday events. They are always planned in advance.
Nice to have, not essential
- Filming or editing for social; Canva, Notion or Meta Business Suite.
- Experience in a customer-facing job in hospitality or retail.
A real interest in food and restaurants counts for more with us than a perfect CV. If you recognise yourself in most of the above, apply.
Benefits
- A monthly internship allowance
- Hybrid, with agreed office days
- Lunch with the team
- A close view of how content gets made across three markets, from the brief through sourcing, capture, approval and publishing
- A seat at the restaurants on our lineups. Knowing what a good afternoon feels like is part of the job
Sounds like your kind of work? Please apply with your CV and a cover letter, both in English.
