Role purpose
Develops, coordinates and manages content that supports the positioning, visibility and reputation of
TU/e research and impact. The role translates complex information into relevant and engaging stories
and content formats that help achieve marketing and communication objectives.
Key responsibilities
Develops content for digital and offline channels, translates scientific topics into accessible
communication, coordinates content production with internal and external contributors, manages
content planning and calendars, and ensures consistent application of the TU/e brand, tone of voice
and key messages. The role continuously improves content performance through audience insights,
analytics and best practices in content marketing.
Knowledge and experience
• Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism, marketing or a related field
• Relevant experience in content creation, editing or content management.
• Experience in a complex organization and affinity with higher education, science and societal
impact are preferred.
• Knowledge of content management systems, SEO, analytics and digital content channels is
expected.
• Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

De TU/e is op zoek naar twee communicatiemedewerkers, voor de tijdelijke vervanging in verband met de opvang van zwangerschapsverlof:
• Bij het Knowledge Transfer Office (KTO): gemiddeld 16 uur per week
• Bij de faculteiten Electrical Engineering (EE) en Mechanical Engineering (ME): gemiddeld 24 á 32 uur
Korte omschrijving afdeling en organisatie
Binnen het CEC Research & Impact team, hiërarchische rapportagelijn naar teamleiders CEC en operationeel rapporteert één positie bij het Knowledge Transfer Office met als belangrijkste doelgroep onderzoekers en start-ups en de andere positie bij de faculteiten EE en ME met als doelgroepen onderzoekers en samenwerkingspartners.
Omschrijving van de werkzaamheden
Binnen research & impact gaat het om Engelstalige wetenschappelijke contentcreatie (schrijven nieuwsberichten, social media, nieuwsbrieven), organiseren events, internet en intranet up to date houden.
