As a Logistics Worker, you work in a modern distribution center where road and air freight shipments are processed daily. You start your shift at 07:00, 08:00, 10:00 or 12:00 by receiving incoming goods and checking transport documents. Throughout the day, you handle various types of cargo, ranging from pharmaceutical products to heavy spare parts. You ensure that every shipment is correctly sorted, packed, and prepared for timely dispatch.
What you will be doing
- Processing incoming and outgoing freight efficiently in a cross-dock environment.
- Storing and retrieving goods in a high-security warehouse and Bonded Warehouse.
- Handling pharmaceutical shipments according to strict GDP guidelines.
- Moving oversized and heavy cargo safely using logistics equipment.
- Performing Value-Added Services (VAS) such as labeling, repacking, and quality checks.
- Registering shipment details accurately in the warehouse management system.
- You speak and understand English or Dutch.
- You are accurate, flexible, and eager to learn new logistics skills.
- You are available for fixed starting times at 08:00 AM or 10:00 AM.
- You have a positive work attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Previous experience in logistics is a plus, but not required.
- A gross hourly wage of € 15.50 (€ 16.74 including 8% holiday allowance).
- 25 vacation days per year based on full-time employment.
