Warehouse Employee Night GLS

Wat je gaat doen As a Warehouse Employee at GLS Wijchen, you make sure parcels are processed safely and on time.
Together with your colleagues, you will:

• unload incoming trucks;
• sort parcels by route and destination;
• load outgoing trucks safely and efficiently;
• check parcels for damage;
• report damaged or incorrect shipments;
• keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe;
• help your team achieve the daily targets.

This is an active and physically demanding warehouse job. During your shift, you will spend a lot of time walking, lifting, sorting and moving parcels.

If you enjoy being active and prefer physical work to sitting behind a desk, this job could be a good match for you.

You work from Monday to Friday in an evening or night shift:

• Evening shift: 17:00–02:00;
• Night shift: 23:00–08:00.

The GLS warehouse is located in Wijchen, near Nijmegen. Because public transport may not be available before or after your shift, you need your own reliable transport. You can travel to the location by car, bicycle or scooter.

Your gross hourly wage depends on the hours you work:

• 17:00–20:00: €14.99 per hour;
• 20:00–00:00: €16.30 per hour;
• 00:00–06:00: €16.68 per hour;
• Friday night: up to €22.49 per hour.

• speak basic English;
• are available from Monday to Friday;
• can work evening and night shifts;
• are physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving parcels;
• have your own reliable transport to Wijchen;
• can work safely and accurately;
• are reliable and arrive on time;
• enjoy working as part of a team.Experience as a Warehouse Worker, Logistics Employee, Parcel Sorter or Order Picker is an advantage, but not required.
