Legal Counsel

As a Legal Counsel, you will be part of the Legal & Compliance Department and play an important role in supporting ROSEN Europe B.V. And its stakeholders. You will be responsible for negotiating, reviewing, researching, and executing a wide variety of agreements while helping the business manage legal and compliance risks.

Location: Oldenzaal

Aligned with the ROSEN Group’s commitment to minimizing legal and reputational risks, the Legal Counsel supports stakeholders in identifying potential risks and implementing practical, business-focused solutions. In addition, this role helps ensure that ROSEN Europe B.V. Conducts its business in compliance with applicable national and international laws and regulations.

Responsible for:

• Providing legal support to ROSEN Europe B.V and its stakeholder, in regards to various complex topics and areas of law and compliance (e.g. Contract law, corporate law,insurance law, anti-corruption, anti-competition, data protection);
• Providing legal and compliance advice on a wide range of issues;
• Negotiating, drafting, reviewing independently agreements and other legal relateddocuments (non-standard and standard legal documents);
• Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect ROSEN Europe B.V. And/or its potential new businesses;
• Performing pre-litigation work to minimize risks and maximize legal rights and liaise with external counsel;
• Providing training to respective units on substantive legal topics;
• Providing support to other legal and compliance team members.

• A Law degree;
• 1-3 years of post-qualification experience;
• Good understanding of contract law, commercial law, compliance and associated fields of law;
• Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken;
• Experience within the oil and gas industry is an added advantage;
• Living within a maximum driving distance of one hour from our Oldenzaal location.

The provision of a certificate of good conduct (VOG) is part of the procedure. ROSEN Europe covers the costs of applying for a certificate on your behalf.
