IKEA Dublin is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Customer Service Assistants to join our team!
In this dynamic role, you’ll welcome customers into our store and support them across Customer Services—whether handling returns, assisting with IKEA services, or processing payments in a fast‑paced, people-focused environment.
WHAT WE OFFER
- The Start Date of employment will be: 7th September
- Competitive hourly rate of €15.70 per hour.
- 12 and 20 hour contracts available, working between 3-5 days a week including evenings and weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Able to take initiative, are adept at juggling several responsibilities at once, and value teamwork while also being able to complete assignments without direct supervision.
- You have a customer first mindset, where you make the customer feel valued and supported in everything you do.
- Computer literate and able to work with technology.
- The confidence to maintain composure and patience when dealing with a variety of customers and complex complaints.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- You will use your knowledge, resilience and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints, dealing positively and quickly with any issues raised.
- Ensure accurate handling of all returned products, highlighting and escalating any product issues immediately.
- Supporting customers experiencing difficulties in product assembly and where needed be able to order and exchange spare parts.
- You use your passion for great customer service to make payments easy, offering a fast and efficient checkout experience by accurately scanning customers products.
- Welcomes our customers into store at our main entrance provides shopping tools, gives directions, promotes offers, and helps keep the entrance area safe and organized.
