Driver

As a Logistics Employee AOG (Aircraft on Ground) Field Service, you play a crucial role when every second counts for stranded aircraft. In this position, you drive directly to suppliers to pick up critical aircraft parts and transport them straight to the aircraft on the airport platform. You guide shipments through airport security, handle documentation, and board passenger flights as an On-Board Courier when needed to deliver parts globally. You work in alternating morning shifts (06:00 to 14:00) and evening shifts (14:00 to 22:00) from Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Transporting urgent and time-critical aircraft parts between suppliers, airports, and stranded aircraft.
• Guiding cargo through airport security and customs procedures efficiently on location.
• Executing On-Board Courier (OBC) assignments to deliver parts internationally when requested.
• Communicating continuously with the logistics office team and ground engineers on the airfield platform.
• Checking and verifying all shipping documents to ensure technical and legal compliance.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence B with strong driving experience.
• Ability to obtain a positive background check (VOG) required for an airport pass.
• High degree of stress tolerance and a solution-oriented mindset during time-sensitive situations.
• Possession of a 'Medewerker Luchtvracht' certificate or willingness to complete this training.
