Peritus Group is looking for a Marine Bunker Surveyor to support fuel quantity verification operations on board seagoing vessels throughout the Netherlands and Belgium.

Tasks
What you will do
- Attend bunker operations on board seagoing vessels.
- Perform fuel quantity surveys before, during, and after bunkering.
- Verify bunker deliveries using both conventional measurement methods and Mass Flow Meter (MFM) systems.
- Witness fuel sampling procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare professional survey reports and communicate findings to clients.
- Represent Peritus Group with the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Requirements
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driving licence (Category B) with confident driving experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Netherlands and Belgium, including occasional evening, night, and weekend assignments.
Preferred qualifications
Experience in one or more of the following is considered an advantage:
- Marine surveying
- Bunkering operations
- Merchant shipping
- Tanker operations
- Engine room operations
- Marine engineering
- Maritime logistics
- Fuel quality or quantity inspections
