About the roleWe are looking for an Analyst Manufacturing Process Improvement at our Groningen site. The role is hands‑on and involves creating and maintaining instructional documentation for production work, following TWI methodology, and supporting continuous improvement. You will combine technical knowledge with didactic skills to explain the “why” and “how” of tasks, making work clear, usable, and auditable so operators can work consistently and safely.
This position falls under the Operations function and works closely with operators, engineering, quality, training, and document control teams to translate process improvements into practical, implemented documentation changes.
Responsibilities- Write and maintain instructional documentation for production work, work instructions (WV) and process order (JBS) following TWI methodology and meeting operational quality standards (70%).
- Implement documentation updates via Agile workflows, coordinate rollout with training and document control to ensure timely implementation (5%).
- Map work processes and implement opportunities identified in time studies to stimulate improvements in cost, yield, cycle time or space utilization (5%).
- Collect, analyze and maintain a database of process improvement opportunities, and communicate findings to the engineering team or management for solutions (15%).
- Deliver classroom training for operators, support follow‑up of training and advise on production document strategy to integrate and sustain changes (5%).
- Proficiency in Dutch (CEFR C1/C2) and English sufficient for collaboration with English‑speaking colleagues.
- Relevant technical education or comparable practical experience in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience writing and maintaining production work instructions using TWI methodology.
- Comfortable working within Agile implementation approaches and following administrative processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a track record of engaging operators and teams of engineers, quality, training and document control to achieve results.
- Experience collecting and analyzing process data and maintaining improvement databases, with willingness to demonstrate leadership needs and the organization’s Credo.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is €38,300 to €61,410 annually and includes an 8% holiday allowance. In addition to base pay, we offer:
