Do you want to learn how to properly prepare cable and pipeline projects before work begins on-site? As a Junior Planner Underground Infrastructure, you will contribute to projects in residential areas where underground networks are renewed, upgraded, and made future-proof. This includes replacing or laying cables and pipelines, preparing routes, and ensuring that execution can start safely and smoothly.
You will assist in a neighborhood-oriented approach where tasks are smartly combined to minimize inconvenience for residents. You will be closely involved in the process, from preparation to execution. Along the way, you will learn from experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibility. In doing so, you directly contribute to reliable energy, water, and data connections, and you'll quickly see the results of your work in the field.
What you'll be doing
As a junior team member, you will gradually learn how to effectively prepare and coordinate projects step by step. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, municipalities, and other involved parties.
- You'll assist in applying for permits
- You'll maintain contact with municipalities and other stakeholders
- You'll help organize surveys, such as soil and archaeological studies
- You'll process survey results in the preparation of projects
- You'll assist in drafting plans, reports, and inspection summaries
- You'll help prepare traffic measures and safety & health plans
- You'll coordinate with engineers and project managers about project startup
- You'll contribute ideas about safe and efficient execution
You are eager to learn, structured, and enjoy collaborating with various parties. What we require from you at a minimum:
- A higher professional education (HBO) diploma, preferably in a technical field
- Interest in underground infrastructure (cables and pipelines)
- Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written
- Basic computer skills (some proficiency is desirable)
