As Country Digital Director, you are a key member of the Country Management Team and contribute to the overall performance and success of the Dutch business. You combine business leadership with digital expertise and foster collaboration, communication and integration between the country organization and central digital teams.

In this role, digital is not the goal itself, but an enabler of business growth, operational excellence and customer experience. You bring an outside‑in perspective on market developments, emerging technologies and retail innovation to help shape the future direction of the business.

You're responsible for:

• Contributing to the overall business strategy and success of the Dutch organization as a full member of the Country Management Team.
• Driving the Digital transformation in the country to fully leverage digital capabilities in support of business objectives.
• Identifying opportunities to improve revenue growth, cost efficiency, customer satisfaction and coworker experience through digital solutions.
• Optimizing customer journeys by integrating digital components and adhering to defined processes.
• Providing functional expertise in formulating and implementing an integrated multi‑channel strategy.
• Leading the Country Digital Unit in alignment with Central to ensure one strategy and agenda.
• Championing new digital initiatives and ensuring high‑quality, data‑driven decision‑making.
• Collaborating with all relevant functions and stakeholders to translate business needs into impactful digital solutions.
• Coordinating global deployments, local projects, products and capacity.
• Bringing an outside‑in perspective by identifying best practices, emerging technologies and innovations that can accelerate business performance.
• Managing the budget and planning for digital activities, ensuring compliance with Central guidelines.
• Promoting sustainability and contributing to the Group's sustainability strategy.

The Country Digital Director is first and foremost a business leader who understands how digital capabilities can accelerate business performance. You are energized by driving business growth, shaping strategy and contributing to the overall success of the country organization.

Furthermore, you bring:

• Proven leadership skills in complex customer‑facing organizations where you have successfully led transformation initiatives and large‑scale change.
• Experience operating at Management Team or Executive level, contributing to business decisions beyond your own functional area.
• Extensive experience in digital transformation, business development and leveraging technology to create measurable business impact.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to contribute to sustainable profitability, growth and operational excellence.
• Strategic planning expertise in setting direction, managing long‑term plans, budgets, KPI's and business priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leaders across local and international organizations.
• Data‑driven decision‑making capabilities and the ability to translate insights into business actions.
• An outside‑in mindset with a strong interest in retail trends, customer behavior, digital innovation and emerging technologies.
• Fluency in English.
