About Nexperia

We are looking for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel who combines strong corporate and M&A expertise with business acumen and a collaborative mindset.

About the role

In this senior role, you will advise Nexperia on a wide range of national and international corporate law and corporate governance matters including M&A, while working closely with internal stakeholders and external advisors.

You will collaborate intensively with Nexperia’s international Finance, Treasury and Tax departments and provide pragmatic, high quality legal support to strategic transactions. In addition, you will support the legal team in litigation and dispute matters of varying complexity, contributing your expertise where needed.

Working closely with legal colleagues across the globe, you will coordinate and manage external counsel and ensure consistent, business focused legal advice across jurisdictions.

As a trusted sparring partner, you will support executive management and local organizations worldwide, translating legal complexity into clear, actionable advice.

The role is based at Nexperia’s headquarters in Nijmegen, and you will report directly to the Deputy Chief Legal Officer.

What you will need

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of relevant experience as a corporate lawyer or legal counsel and is ready to further apply and deepen their expertise in an international environment.

  • A completed university degree in law.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in corporate law in an international setting.
  • M&A experience (considered a strong advantage).
  • Experience working closely with Finance, Treasury and/or Tax departments.
  • Litigation experience (considered an advantage).
  • Relevant experience gained at a leading law firm and/or a multinational company (considered as an advantage).
  • Proven experience working with C‑suite and senior management stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
