Senior Legal Counsel, Clinical Informatics – support the Clinical Informatics and Enterprise Informatics businesses by acting as the legal business partner for Imaging Informatics and contributing directly to the success of the business.
Your RoleAs Philips’ Senior Legal Counsel in the EI Legal Team you will act as a Legal Business Partner for Clinical Informatics, Enterprise Informatics. Philips Healthcare Informatics focuses on Imaging Informatics and Clinical Informatics. Your role includes providing comprehensive legal support to enable and safeguard the full scope of the business’s activities: advising on new business models for products and solutions, strategic alliances, procurement, marketing, research and development, and managing claims and disputes. You will also cover key compliance areas such as cybersecurity, quality, regulatory matters, privacy, and healthcare compliance.
You will be part of the EI Legal Team, which consists of 4 lawyers supporting the Enterprise Informatics business, based in the Netherlands.
Qualifications- Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or equivalent academic qualification.
- 10+ years of experience in commercial contracting and legal business partnering.
- Hands‑on expertise in IT matters, including IT procurement/licensing, SAAS and cloud agreements, IT implementation/transition, cloud migration projects, artificial intelligence, and handling of IT‑related disputes.
- Strong business sense and a flexible, solution‑oriented way of working.
- Demonstrated experience in handling complex matters independently with demanding clients and senior management.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, fluent in English (both written and spoken).
- Keen interest in healthcare, IT/technology, and new business developments.
Base salary range: EUR 93,049.00 - EUR 155,081.00. The role is eligible for a 6% short‑term incentive linked to individual performance and company results. Benefits include hybrid working, paid time‑off, health and wellbeing benefits, and learning and development opportunities.
