GreenFlux offers a cloud-based charge point management SaaS solution. This software platform enables Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and e-Mobility Service Providers (eMSPs) to successfully launch their respective businesses. With its offering, GreenFlux plays a pivotal role in facilitating the uptake of electric vehicles and the renewable energy revolution. To keep up with the rapid market and business expansion and to support the company’s dynamic growth, we are looking for new ambitious colleagues.

The job

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the full local finance function at GreenFlux, including financial control, business control, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital management, audit, tax and compliance. You will lead a finance team of five direct reports and work closely with the GreenFlux leadership team, DKV Mobility Group finance stakeholders and other internal business partners.

Your responsibilities
  1. Business partnering and performance management
    • Act as a strategic finance business partner to the GreenFlux leadership team and relevant DKV Mobility Group stakeholders.
    • Translate financial and operational data into clear insights, recommendations and actions.
    • Support strategic and commercial decision‑making through financial analysis, forecasting and scenario planning.
    • Drive financial transparency and performance management across the organisation.
    • Lead monthly business reviews and provide clear insights on performance, risks and opportunities.
    • Develop and maintain relevant KPIs, dashboards and management reporting.
  2. Planning, forecasting and reporting
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles.
    • Deliver timely, accurate and high‑quality monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
    • Ensure alignment between local reporting requirements and DKV Mobility Group standards.
    • Improve the quality, speed and reliability of planning and forecasting processes.
    • Support long‑term financial planning and help build scalable financial models for future growth.
  3. Financial control, working capital and cash management
    • Safeguard the quality of financial administration, accounting and closing processes.
    • Monitor and actively manage working capital performance.
    • Drive accounts receivable management, overdue reduction and collection processes.
    • Support credit management activities and customer risk assessments.
    • Maintain clear cash flow visibility and reliable cash flow forecasting.
    • Ensure strong collaboration between finance, sales, operations and shared service functions.
  4. Governance, audit, tax and compliance
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies and governance standards.
    • Coordinate statutory audits and act as a key point of contact for external auditors.
    • Manage the annual financial statement process.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant Dutch and international VAT, tax and financial regulations.
    • Act as the local expert and point of contact for finance‑related compliance matters.
    • Identify financial risks and ensure appropriate controls and mitigation actions are in place.
  5. Finance operations and team leadership
    • Lead, coach and develop the local finance team.
    • Create a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Ensure clear roles, responsibilities and ways of working within the finance team.
    • Support team members in their professional development and help raise the overall maturity of the finance function.
    • Ensure effective collaboration between local finance, the wider business and DKV Mobility Group finance teams.
  6. Finance transformation and process improvement
    • Drive finance process optimization, standardization and automation initiatives.
    • Support ERP, reporting and finance system improvement projects.
    • Improve the scalability of finance processes to support business growth.
    • Collaborate with DKV Mobility Group stakeholders on integration, harmonization and transformation initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, data quality, reporting and internal controls.
Requirements

You are a confident and reliable finance leader with strong business sense, excellent analytical skills and a hands‑on mindset. You know how to create structure, challenge constructively and bring clarity in a fast‑moving environment. You are detail‑oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture, can move comfortably between strategic discussions with senior stakeholders and practical follow‑up with your team, bring maturity, ownership and a collaborative attitude, and know how to build trust across the organisation.

  • A completed HBO or WO degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Economics or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, controlling or business control.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading and developing a finance team.
  • Strong experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, business control and performance management.
  • A solid understanding of Dutch financial reporting, statutory audit processes, VAT and tax compliance. Therefore, experience working in a finance position within the Netherlands is a must.
  • Experience working in an international, fast‑growing or group‑owned organisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to challenge and advise senior leaders.
  • Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools and finance transformation or process improvement projects.
  • The ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.
  • Affinity with technology, SaaS, mobility, energy or sustainability is a plus.
  • A sustainable mindset and motivation to contribute to the future of electric mobility.
Our offer

Joining GreenFlux means working in a dynamic, innovative and informal organisation, where new ideas and developments move quickly and each day brings new opportunities and challenges.

You will join a company with a strong purpose, an international environment and the opportunity to make a visible impact on how we scale and professionalise our finance function. From one of the most inspiring locations in Amsterdam, you will actively contribute to a more sustainable future.
