Delola Podhotel is currently looking for two Night Receptionists to join our growing international team. Both positions are scheduled to begin on 15 July 2026.

This position is ideal for students, hospitality professionals, or anyone looking for flexible night work. You may attend school or have other daytime commitments, but flexibility with scheduling is essential.

About Delola

Delola is a modern pod hotel located in the heart of The Hague. We are not a traditional hotel, but we are not a hostel either. We provide private sleeping pods in an international, adult-only environment.

Our guests come from all over the world, and during the night, you become the face of Delola.

Contract & Salary

We believe in transparency.

All employees begin with a 3-month trial period. If both parties are happy after this period, a 1-year contract with additional hours may be offered.

Option 1: 0-Hour Contract

Hourly wage: approximately €16.70 gross per hour

inclusive night allowance, holiday and hourly wage.

Option 2: 16 hour contract

• €15.44 gross per hour including the 3% night allowance

• Holiday allowance accrued separately

• Additional hours worked are added to accrued hours and may be taken as leave or paid according to company policy

Job Description

As a Night Receptionist, you will:

• Check guests in and out.

• Assist late arrivals and overnight guests.

• Be the first point of contact during the night.

• Monitor the safety and security of the property.

• Perform regular building checks and rounds.

• Handle guest concerns and emergency situations calmly.

• Communicate with management and housekeeping.

• Complete administrative tasks and shift reports.

• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of public areas.

• Enforce Delola's house rules and policies.

• Ensure that guests have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay.

You are not a security guard. You are the host of the hotel during the night.

Job Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Is 21 years or older.

• Lives in The Hague or nearby cities.

• Is available to work 2–4 nights per week.

• Is available between Monday and Sunday.

• Can work independently.

• Remains calm under pressure.

• Has excellent communication skills.

• Possesses good de-escalation skills.

• Is mature and responsible.

• Is respectful toward guests and colleagues.

• Is reliable and punctual.

• Takes initiative and follows procedures.

• Understands the importance of safety.

• Speaks English fluently.

• Has flexibility with scheduling.

• Is comfortable working alone during the night.

Hospitality experience is a plus but is not required.

Working Hours

Typical shifts:

• 23:00 – 07:00

You must be available:

• Monday through Sunday

• Minimum 2–4 nights per week

• Weekends and public holidays when required.
