What will you be doing?
As a Guest Relations Officer, you are the main point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. You oversee the well-being of both guests and staff, making sure all departments are informed about important matters. During your routine checks throughout the hotel, you pay close attention to cleanliness, technical issues, and compliance with house rules. If you notice anything, you take immediate action. Additionally, you personally welcome VIP guests and escort them to their rooms, ensuring they have an unforgettable stay. No two days are the same in this dynamic role, and your proactive and service-oriented approach makes all the difference.
Where will you be doing this?
In the former Shipping House of Amsterdam, you’ll find one of the city’s most iconic five-star hotels: Grand Hotel Amrâth Amsterdam. The hotel features 205 luxurious rooms, including 22 suites, 8 meeting and event rooms, a Bar Lounge, and a Spa & Wellness center. Conveniently located just 500 meters from Amsterdam Central Station and easily accessible from the highway, it’s a prime destination.

Your qualifications
You have at least a completed MBO4 or an equivalent qualification.
Preferably, you have knowledge of the MEWS system.
You are available full-time.
You are stress-resistant and highly accurate.
You can work both independently and as part of a team.
You have an excellent command of Dutch and English. Do you speak an additional language? ¡Muy bien, sehr gut!
What do we offer you?
An uplifting position of minimum 23 hours in the heart of Amsterdam.
A salary in accordance with the Hospitality collective labor agreement, 16,12 EUR to 16,71 EUR per hour, depending on your experience.
A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. We want you to stay with us!
