Vacuum employee

Working in the Vacuum department, you are responsible for packaging and repacking semi-finished products and finished products according to the regulations. The main responsibilities are the following:

• Carrying out production work in accordance with work instructions, procedures and preparation methods
• Monitoring the accuracy of best before date, packaging and labels
• Identify deviations and report them to the manager
• Input / placing of product to be packaged on the supply belt of the packaging, thermoforming, vacuum machine
• Remove and place in storage of packaged finished product using. A pump truck
• Wrapping pallets of packaged finished products and providing them with a pallet label
• Perform cleaning work on the equipment and the working environment according to work instructions
• Packing and repacking work
• Perform quality checks

The start time at work is between 05:00 and 08:00 am depends on the department, and the end time is flexible. The work is usually an 8-hour shift, between Monday and Friday, but extra hours and extra days of the weekend are planned according to the operational needs. 

Job Requirements:

• You are physically fit and able to do standing and lifting work.
• You speak English and/or Dutch.
• You can work in a team and independently.
• You can work in a cold environment (7°C).
• You are available during peak periods (December and Easter).
• Willingness to adhere to regulations regarding jewelry, nail polish and artificial nails, which are prohibited in food production environments.
