Internship - Account Manager

Our internship

A great internship in which you will learn to further develop your organisational skills.

What can you expect?

As an Account Manager intern, you will go through the same induction process as our Account Manager employees. The goal is to teach you as much as possible.

During your internship you will participate in the end-to-end Purchase-to-Sales process and gain insights into identifying purchase and sales opportunities, including:

• Benchmarking for the purchase team
• Offer creation
• Offer overview and administration
• Support for new business initiatives (contact research, prospecting, market research)
• Additional administrative support for account managers – act as an assistant with the possibility of taking responsibility for smaller accounts

Our conditions

• You must be enrolled at a Dutch educational institution for the entire duration of the placement
• Your maximum journey time to our office in Leiden or Hoofddorp is 60 minutes door-to-door

Our offer to you

• Your starting date is between July and September
• Your internship is for 5-6 months and 32-40 hours per week
• Your place of work will be Leiden or Hoofddorp
• You receive an internship compensation
• If you do not have a student travel card, your travel costs for commuting will be reimbursed

Is this you?

We are looking for a candidate who meets the following:

• You are available 32-40 hours per week for 5-6 months
• You are busy with a commercial/international business/economics HBO/WO education
• You write and speak English (any other language is a big plus)
• You are a real pro: flexible, accurate and proactive
• You think along with your team. Together you go for solutions and results
• You have good communication and social skills
