The Commercial Capabilities Manager is part of a team that fuels our success by creating the conditions for continuous and collaborative learning that empowers our global organization to build the critical capabilities needed to thrive. The primary responsibility of this role is to design and deploy learning interventions that empower our commercial teams to successfully grow our brands across the globe. Working style: 4 days a week in the office with Fridays working from home.
Responsibilities- Steward commercial capabilities, address skill‑building priorities, champion a learning culture, and manage learning technologies that enable sales teams to achieve excellence.
- Collaborate with the Global L&D Director and division leadership to refresh and embed the Commercial Capabilities Framework.
- Partner with division chiefs of staff and global market leaders to develop commercial capability curriculum that reflects strategic priorities, market realities, and future skill needs.
- Design, develop, or acquire and deploy high‑impact blended learning interventions across all three levels of learning (Knowledge, Application, Reinforcement).
- Manage the curation and delivery of global sales training modules within the LMS, leveraging LinkedIn Learning libraries.
- Leverage partnerships with external agencies, industry experts, and internal subject matter experts to source or design content with high collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Enable sustained behavioral change by leading post‑program reinforcement and measurement—including follow‑up communications, nudges, and measuring engagement and behavioral impact to shape future marketing investments.
- Operate as a fully embedded member of the global L&D team, contributing to shared priorities, methodologies, and outcomes.
- Minimum five years of experience in sales, commercial operations, and/or learning & development roles focused on commercial effectiveness, strategy, and route‑to‑market models.
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose capability needs, develop interventions, and deploy skill‑building solutions effectively across global markets.
- Strong project‑management skills with a bias for action; able to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results at pace.
- Strong instructional‑design skills with the ability to create engaging blended learning experiences using various technologies and learning theories.
- Ability to act as a steward of organization culture and understand how commercial talent drives business growth, preferably in the spirits category.
- Computer skills with proficiency or the technical aptitude to learn quickly 360Learning (or similar LMS), Google GSuite or Microsoft Office, Articulate, and design tools such as Canva or Infogram.
- Excellent communication skills and proven success partnering across multiple functions and all levels of employees.
- Ability to flex work schedule to collaborate with global partners; travel up to 20% of the time.
