As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll take full ownership of client relationships within your assigned territory. You’ll manage ongoing projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and identify opportunities to expand accounts through upselling and cross‑selling. You’ll collaborate closely with our business development, scientific, and operations teams to deliver a seamless client experience, from quote preparation to project delivery. In addition to managing existing accounts, you’ll actively prospect within your territory to identify new clients and build long‑term partnerships that support our scientific service growth. You will receive substantial support and coaching from management, cross‑functional teams, and internal tools.
Who are you?You are a relationship‑driven, ambitious person with a commercial mindset and a strong understanding of life sciences. You have experience working with scientists and researchers as clients across industry, pharma, and academia; whether you come from a commercial or scientific background, you’re comfortable navigating technical conversations and translating client needs into actionable solutions. You are proactive and consultative and thrive in a dynamic environment. You are an excellent communicator and relationship builder.
What we are looking for- BSc or MSc degree, preferably in bioscience, biotechnology, biology or medical disciplines.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in external account management or a similar client‑facing commercial role.
- Familiarity with organisations in the pharma, food ingredients and biotech market.
- An entrepreneurial mindset; capable of owning and growing client relationships within an assigned territory by managing active accounts, identifying new opportunities and ensuring alignment with internal teams.
- Based in The Netherlands.
