Your main competences include the following:
- Demonstrate teaching excellence and contribute significantly to the department’s academic programmes.
- Have a strong familiarity with online education platforms and techniques to inspire successful blended learning.
- Provide critical yet constructive feedback.
- Be able to teach in English; an advantage if you can also teach in Dutch.
- Appreciate rigorous academic research that addresses real-world challenges.
Additionally, you have the following:
- A PhD in Information Systems, Management & Organisation, Economics, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- A proven track record or strong potential for conducting high-impact research and publishing in top-tier journals.
- An interest in a broad range of Information Systems research topics and methodologies.
- Research interests that synergise with the section and the department’s current focus, particularly in AI, business analytics, digital business, online platforms, human‑computer interaction, digital innovation, and enterprise architecture.
- C1 English skills according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
You will start your new role at the beginning of Fall 2026.
The salary for a full‑time appointment (38 hours) ranges between €4,728 and €6,433 gross per month (Scale 11), in accordance with the CAO‑NU.
Your work location is Campus Woudestein in Rotterdam at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).
