The R&D Operations role ensures efficient execution of product development within the DAQ organization by driving operational excellence and supporting cross‑functional coordination. The position is critical to achieving delivery commitments and maintaining transparency across all development lines.
Key Responsibilities- Drive on‑time, on‑scope delivery of DAQ development projects
- Coordinate across Hardware, Embedded Software, Software, Operations, and Solution Portfolio teams
- Support effort estimation improvements for portfolio planning and business case development
- Align R&D with Operations to streamline industrialization processes
- Collaborate with Purchasing, Production (internal and external), and suppliers to ensure smooth transitions from development to manufacturing
- Manage dependencies and mitigate risks across internal and external stakeholders
- Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and escalation support to PMO
- Maintain progress reports for each development line to enable informed decision‑making
- Drive continuous improvement of execution processes and PLC alignment
- Delivery adherence (time, scope, quality)
- Team engagement throughout R&D teams and disciplines
- Stakeholder satisfaction and risk mitigation effectiveness
- Confirmed R&D leadership with >100FTE Software & Hardware development, technical basic knowledge and experience to guide and support; technical leadership is not scope of the role
- Experience & knowledge of agile development process and project execution
- International experience
- Knowledge of industrialization processes and supply‑chain interfaces
