What does the role entail?- Serving coffee and tea to our residents in the Tower.
- Have a quick chat and provide a smile and a moment of conviviality.
- Provide a welcome change and personal attention during the day.
- Someone with a warm heart for the elderly and a desire for social contact.
- Available in the morning and/or afternoon, flexible deployment.
- A friendly and caring personality who likes to make a difference for others.
- A warm and rewarding environment in which your efforts make the difference.
- Flexibility in hours and space to plan your own day.
- The opportunity to give residents a valuable moment and to experience satisfaction themselves.
You don't have to be able to come at a fixed time. For volunteer work we prefer at least 1x per month and preferably 1x per week.

Location:
The Breezicht residential care location is located in Oud-IJmuiden.
Close to the sea, the locks, the fortress island and the harbour! About 110 residents live here.
As soon as you enter the house you will immediately feel a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere.
In general, residents with a malfunctioning brain, also known as dementia, live here.
At Breezicht we provide a warm living environment where everyone feels at home.
We offer personal care, structure and activities that suit our residents. With a lot of attention for peace, safety and quality of life.
Residential care centre Breezicht is part of Zorgbalans and is located in Oud IJmuiden. The residents (most of whom have a faltering brain) live in their own apartment and have the opportunity to participate in many activities.
