As a school presenter, you visit schools to tell children more about our work at the animal ambulance and how we handle all kinds of animals.
What are you going to do?- Providing information to groups 7 of primary schools in our working area
- Providing information at after‑school care centers and childcare facilities or during open days, events and other children's activities
In the space of one hour we want the children of the school:
- introduce people to the work of the animal ambulance;
- explain why it is important that the animal ambulance is there;
- explain what the purpose of our work is;
- explain what happens to found and injured animals;
- provide an opportunity to ask questions;
- take a look at the animal ambulance.
- You have an affinity with children
- You can handle computers
- You work independently or together with others
- You are available at a time that suits you – everything in consultation
- You are part of our friendly team of volunteers
- Volunteer work that really makes a difference
- Flexibility: you come when it suits you
- Much appreciation from people (and animals)
The main task of the animal ambulance is to help animals in need. These can be animals from nature, but also found pets, whether injured or not. We also drive owners to the vet, boarding house or groomer by appointment. Our working area is in the municipalities of Ede, Renkum, Rhenen and Wageningen.
