Are you ready to take your leadership skills to the next level? We are looking for a Romanian and Dutch speaking Team Leader to manage a group of 80 to 90 employees at a leading tomato greenhouse in Burgerveen. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating daily operations, guiding your team through the harvest process, and ensuring high productivity and quality standards are met. You will be the main point of contact for your team, helping them to achieve their daily goals and supporting their development.

A typical day involves starting with a team meeting to plan the tasks, monitoring progress throughout the day, and solving any issues that come up. You’ll work closely with your multicultural team, using both Romanian and Dutch to communicate effectively. Flexibility is important, as no two days are exactly the same. You’ll need to prioritize tasks, adjust to changes, and keep the team motivated in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role, ideally in horticulture or greenhouse operations

• MBO+ level of education and thinking

• Able to lead a diverse, multicultural team of 80–90 people

• Good command of Dutch and Romanian, both spoken and written; English is a plus

• Proficient with Excel and able to manage schedules and performance datanBasic language skills are sufficient for this position – understanding simple instructions and the ability to communicate at work.
