Vacaturebeschrijving

Do you thrive in an operational environment where reliability, precision, and smart decision making make the difference? At Kramp, we are looking for a Supply Chain specialist who ensures smooth and stable daily execution of our supply and inventory plans.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind accurate purchase order management, timely inbound flows, and efficient internal stock movements. Operating in the execution horizon, you focus on resolving inventory exceptions, safeguarding operational stability, and providing valuable feedback to improve our planning processes.

If you enjoy turning plans into seamless execution—and you’re motivated by impact, collaboration, and continuous improvement—this is your opportunity!

What is your role?

In this role, your key responsibilities are:

  • Execute Slim4 order proposals and system‑generated purchase orders, including stock transfers and internal stock redistribution within defined rules and limits.
  • Manage daily end‑to‑end order processing and stock movements, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Monitor open purchase orders, follow up on supplier confirmations, and adjust, reschedule, or cancel orders where required.
  • Resolve short‑term availability issues, booking exceptions, and supply or confirmation discrepancies within the operational horizon.
  • Conduct operational follow‑up with suppliers on order confirmations, delivery performance, overdue orders, and Delivered‑as‑Confirmed (DAC) results.
  • Escalate recurring or structural supplier performance issues through established governance channels.
  • Coordinate closely with warehouses and transport teams to manage inbound constraints and quality‑related exceptions.
  • Support Customer Service by resolving operational root causes impacting case lead times.
  • Maintain accurate data in relevant systems, ensuring clean order administration and timely updates.
  • Drive together with Supply Planning and Demand Planning continuous improvement.

You will be part of the Supply Chain Shop & Workshop team, consisting of 10 Supply Chain Specialists, 1 Demand Planner, and 1 Supply Planner. You will report to the Category Supply Chain Manager.

Who are you?

You are a reliable and proactive professional who brings structure, energy, and clear communication into your daily work. You take ownership of your responsibilities, collaborate easily across teams, and continuously look for ways to make processes smarter and more efficient. With a positive mindset and a natural ability to connect with stakeholders, you create impact by maintaining a stable and high‑performing supply chain environment.

Additionally, you bring:
  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree within Supply Chain or equivalent Supply chain experience is considered a plus.
  • A strong sense of accountability, consistently delivering accurate and high‑quality work.
  • A focus on optimizing work processes, using data and feedback to improve efficiency and solve issues quickly.
  • A hands‑on, action‑oriented approach, tackling challenges with urgency and enthusiasm.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills, creating effective networks inside and outside the organization.
What Kramp offers

You can expect:

  • 25 vacation days and 12 ADV days (based on full‑time contract).
  • Flexible working policy in hours and location (offices in Utrecht, Varsseveld & Leek).
  • Travel and working from home allowance.
  • Profit sharing bonus.
  • Learning budget for training and courses to support your growth ambitions.
