M&A Coverage Intern - Infrastructure Finance (Amsterdam)

Macquarie Capital Amsterdam is a team of M&A advisory, principal investment and project finance specialists dedicated to covering the Benelux region, covering projects which include several critical infrastructure projects. Our Coverage and Solutions team focuses on M&A, equity capital markets, debt advisory and principal investments in the Benelux. We are looking for motivated interns to join our team for a duration of 3-4 months, with start dates in September or October 2026, and April or May 2027.

As an off‑cycle intern in the Amsterdam team, you will support our Coverage and Solutions team and experience first‑hand how we are helping our clients and partners realise opportunity. Your responsibilities may include conducting research and analyzing company and industry‑specific financial information, supporting financial modeling for state‑of‑the‑art infrastructure financial models, and assisting with pitch presentations and other day‑to‑day deal activities to raise debt facilities for our clients. You will also be involved in preparing client presentations, providing market updates, assisting in due diligence processes, and coordinating the execution of advisory mandates and principal investments—all whilst sitting side by side with experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills.

• You are a motivated student in the final year or a recent graduate of a top business or engineering school (or equivalent) and are looking to gain working experience quickly versus a structured program.
• Excellent language skills in both Dutch and English.
• Previous experience as an intern in corporate finance advisory, M&A, private equity, transaction services, leveraged finance or audit would be a plus.
