Our client is a fast‑growing international company that develops, manufactures and distributes high‑quality air filters. They specialise in air‑purification solutions for commercial buildings, hospitals, data centres and airports, using advanced filtration systems that remove harmful particles from the air. The company is headquartered in Alkmaar and operates through an international distribution network with production facilities in China and Poland and order‑fulfilment locations in Alkmaar, Poland and Finland.
Responsibilities- Lead the company’s sustainability agenda (EcoVadis, EPD, CSR), HSE, compliance and quality across Europe in a manufacturing and order‑fulfilment environment.
- Develop and maintain a practical, audit‑ready sustainability approach, mapping policies, work instructions and evidence into daily operations.
- Drive the EcoVadis roadmap toward Gold/Platinum through concrete actions in manufacturing and order fulfilment.
- Guide EPD processes, including data collection from production and fulfilment activities.
- Embed sustainability into daily processes by working directly with Operations, Supply Chain and R&D.
- Ensure sustainability efforts align with customer requirements and corporate social responsibility commitments.
- Define and implement a clear, practical compliance and HSE framework embedded in manufacturing and order‑fulfilment processes across the Netherlands, Poland and Finland.
- Translate requirements into concrete procedures, shop‑floor instructions and controls, ensuring documentation, traceability and audit readiness.
- Monitor adherence, drive corrective actions and act as the central coordination point for compliance topics related to operations and customer requirements.
- Define and implement end‑to‑end quality principles across manufacturing and order‑fulfilment processes.
- Align standards and responsibilities across Netherlands, Poland and Finland within one practical quality framework.
- Ensure consistency in execution – production quality, order accuracy, and customer‑specific requirements.
- Establish clear ownership, escalation paths and performance follow‑up within operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor and in fulfilment processes.
- HBO+ or Master’s degree.
- 5 to 12+ years of experience in quality, HSE, compliance and sustainability within a manufacturing or order‑fulfilment environment.
- Experience with EcoVadis, EPD or similar CSR/ESG frameworks preferred.
- Proven ability to build and implement practical frameworks and translate them into daily operations.
- Strong hands‑on experience in production and warehouse processes and comfortable working on the shop floor.
- Excellent stakeholder‑management skills, aligning teams across functions and countries.
- Structured and pragmatic approach to turn requirements into clear, workable solutions.
- Continuous improvement mindset – actively identifying and implementing improvements.
- Fluent in English.
