Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the roleWe are looking for a Key Account Associate to strengthen our Sales Team at Reckitt. In this role, you will play an important part in defining retailer strategies, building and expanding category knowledge, and supporting the negotiation and execution of retailer strategies.
You will be based at our Amsterdam Sloterdijk office. We currently work in a hybrid model, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
Your responsibilities- Develop and implement the annual account plan
- Manage customer negotiations in line with Reckitt’s commercial strategy and retailer trading terms
- Own account planning and forecasting activities
- Take P&L responsibility, ensuring delivery of targets on Net Revenue, Gross Margin, the 4Ps (Product, Placement, Price & Promotion), and Net Working Capital
- Collaborate closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing to maximize sales, optimize shelf presence, and improve promotional effectiveness
- Analyze sales data (e.g. Nielsen) to provide insights into the performance of the 4Ps, with a strong focus on promotions and new product launches
- Work cross-functionally with Supply Services to ensure accurate forecasting and sufficient stock availability for customers
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level (HBO or WO)
- Internship or entry-level experience in Assistant Key Account Management and/or Sales
- Strong analytical skills with a genuine interest in data analysis; able to translate insights into actions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Fluent in both Dutch and English
