Miduo Chinese Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant located in the center
of Amsterdam. The restaurant specializes in authentic Chinese
cuisine and aims to provide high-quality food and service to its
customers.
This role involves preparing and cooking dishes according to
established recipes and presentation standards. Responsibilities
include ingredient preparation, cooking dishes, portioning, plating,
and maintaining kitchen hygiene and organization. The chef will also
be responsible for assisting with inventory control, monitoring
ingredient quality, and placing orders with suppliers when
necessary.
The Chef will support the daily operations of the kitchen and ensure
that dishes are prepared efficiently and consistently. The position
may involve supervising kitchen assistants and coordinating kitchen
workflow during busy service hours. The chef is also expected to
contribute ideas regarding menu development, improvements to
dishes, and kitchen working methods.

1. At least secondary vocational training level 3 or equivalent
working and thinking level.
2. Good professional cooking knowledge and technical skills.

4. Ability to work under pressure and manage busy service
Salary starting at €2.613,37 in accordance with the Hospitality
Collective Labor Agreement (CAO), rising to €2.993,76 depending
on experience. You will be working in a great team with enthusiastic
colleagues. Pension plan, room and board, food, meal, and travel
allowance are included.
