Lead Analyst DA & A

The Lead Analyst will report into the Senior Lead Analyst and the role will be located in Rotterdam. He/she will be part of a team of 2 colleagues and will work closely with subject matter expertise and the Continuous Improvement team to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, models, and transformations that deliver process mining insights through the Celonis cloud solution. The role combines data engineering and business analysis to drive process innovations and insights for optimizing business processes.

• Stay current with Intelligent Automation technologies, capabilities, business applications, process mining; apply innovations in these areas and share knowledge with team members.
• Ingest data using Celonis connectors, direct database integrations, or custom methods, and transform and model data for process mining use cases.
• Design and build data models, process models, and business objects, translating process behavior into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Automate processes using Intelligent Automation tools including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Alteryx, and Power Automate.
• Collaborate with subject matter expertise, the Continuous Improvement team, and developers to design and implement optimized future state processes or workflows, ensuring compliance and securing required SAP security, roles, interface access, and licenses.
• Enable business analysts by creating custom reports and presentations with strong data visualization and storytelling in Celonis.
• Maintain technical documentation for process mining, including process discovery documents, step‑by‑step procedures, test scenarios, runbooks, and project sign‑off sheets.
• Apply machine learning techniques to further optimize business processes.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related science/technical discipline (including Finance/Accounting).
• SQL and data modeling skills required.
• Certifications in Celonis Data Engineering, Automation Anywhere, or similar preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in business process optimization, data mining, analytics, or Intelligent Automation and AI solutions.
• 2–4 years of experience with SQL, Python, R, or VBA Power Query.
• Experience with databases and SAP.
• Experience in data science, data engineering, and analytics using tools such as Celonis, Alteryx, Power Automate, or Automation Anywhere.
• Familiarity with process mapping using Visio or BPMN.
• Familiarity with Intelligent Automation capabilities and AI solutions such as workflow automation, RPA, RDA, OCR, ML, AI, intelligent data extraction, and intelligent assistants.
• Fluency in English; additional languages preferred.
