Attesa Coffee is a start-up specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. We work directly with producers at the origin to bring our customers (specialty coffee roasters) high-quality coffees safely, on time, and consistently with the use of efficient digital frameworks. We believe in traceability through the chain and are highly committed to transparency towards all our stakeholders.
We are looking for a performance-driven individual with a strong passion for coffee to join our team as a Sourcing Manager.
Tasks- Developing and maintaining working relationships with current and prospective suppliers of the Client, on behalf of the Client
- Leading communication with current and prospective suppliers of the Client, on behalf of the Client, via email, phone and in-person interactions
- Leading / managing the sourcing team of the Client
- Assisting the client on commercial pricing and offer lists
- Represent the Client at various industry fairs / events
- Taking overall lead on Green Coffee sourcing process for the Client
- 3+ years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Prior experience in the coffee industry or agricultural commodities (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable working across different time zones and cultures
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Spanish is required
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and Canvas
- Laptop / Computer; consistent, fast internet connection
- Must be based in Colombia
- Work Hours - 7am - 3:30 pm Colombia time (preferable)
- Experience working with specialty coffee producers, cooperatives, or exporters
- Familiarity with sustainability certifications (e.g., Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance, Organic)
- Exposure to international trade logistics or coffee importing/exporting
- Prior participation in coffee industry events, trade shows, or origin trips
- Basic understanding of green coffee quality evaluation and cuppingExperience using CRM or sourcing management tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalents)
- Work in an entrepreneurial and ownership driven environment
- Core knowledge and workings of the agricultural distribution industry
