Intern Chief Economist Office

Then take this opportunity to do an internship at the Chief Economist Office of PwC. We are happy to welcome you in our team from the end of June 2026 for a period of three to six months.

The research of the Chief Economist Office contributes internally to a better understanding of the subjects that are high on the agenda of our clients and relations. By publishing our research reports on our website and other channels, we also want to share our knowledge with society and contribute to the public debate on important issues.

You will work for a diverse range of business experts, deal with various topics, and have inspiring colleagues. We will give you research tasks and you will report on outcomes either in written form, orally or both. You will have your own responsibilities and carry them out independently. An internship supervisor will coach you throughout the duration of your internship and support you in your development.

• You are planning to follow, or you are following an economics-related master at a leading university;
• You have good academic results, and experience with statistics and data analysis;
• You have a strong interest in economic problems and are motivated to apply economic theory to practical issues;
• You show flexibility in terms of the methods you apply and the topics you want to work on;
• You are an effective communicator and find it easy to work in teams;
• You are able to write and speak English fluently and a high proficiency in the Dutch language is an advantage;
• You are available on a full-time basis, between 3 and 6 months. We will decide upon the duration of your internship in consultation with you;
• You live in the Netherlands and are available to work in the Amsterdam office at least two days a week.

* To be eligible for the internship you must be enrolled at a university during the internship.
