- Enrolled in a Dutch college or university (Bachelor’s or Master’s) for the full duration of the internship (September 2026 – June 2027)
- Hold EU citizenship, OR are a non‑EU student studying in the Netherlands

- The Channel Merchandising Rookie will support the Channel Merchandising team by contributing to consumer and channel insight development for Under Armour’s two most strategic wholesale partners: JD Sports and Sports Direct.
- The role focuses on building foundational understanding of the sportswear consumer within these channels, including assortment structure, brand storytelling, and price positioning. Through data analysis and channel observations, the intern will contribute insights that support merchandising decision‑making.
Strategic Project Contribution
- Support a focused consumer and channel insight project centered on sportswear
- Build a clear overview of channel differences, consumer profiles, and merchandising approaches
- Translate observations into concise insights to support Channel Merchandising strategy discussions
Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities
- Conduct market, channel, and competitor analysis across JD Sports and Sports Direct (online and in‑store where applicable)
- Review assortment structures, key franchises, price ladders, and product visibility within sportswear categories
- Support the team with presentation building, data organization, and insight summaries
- Collaborate with Channel Merchandising and cross‑functional partners as needed
- Operational Support SMU/Inline & Trasix workflow
- Currently studying toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, or a related field
- Genuinely passionate about sports, sportswear, and athletic culture
- Curious about how major retailers and global brands work together behind the scenes
- Strong analytical mindset with confidence working with numbers and data
- Able to turn analysis into clear, structured presentations and stories (PowerPoint)
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently as well as in a team
- Work Schedule: This role follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days in‑office per week.
