As a Technical Facility Employee, you play a key role in ensuring that all buildings, warehouse areas, and outdoor facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. You are responsible for supporting the daily technical and facility operations, contributing to an efficient and well-organized working environment.
You will be part of a hands-on and collaborative team where flexibility and a proactive mindset are essential. In this role, you are expected to be broadly deployable across different areas, including warehouses, offices, and outdoor terrain. This means your daily activities will vary.
Your tasks include performing visual inspections to identify damages, deviations, or safety risks and carrying out minor repairs where necessary. You will maintain facilities such as floors, walls, racking, docks, and barriers, as well as support the upkeep of machines and technical installations.
Additionally, you will be responsible for general facility tasks such as keeping areas clean and organized, managing stock (e.g., salt, supplies, vending machines), and ensuring safety measures are in place, including checking emergency exits, signage, and markings.
You will also perform periodic maintenance activities, such as:
- Inspecting warehouse equipment and infrastructure
- Maintaining outdoor areas and parking facilities
- Supporting cleaning stations and sanitary facilities
- Performing preventive maintenance on machines
- Conducting routine checks such as Legionella flushing rounds
Flexibility is an important part of this role. While you will mainly work during regular day shifts, you are willing to adapt your schedule when operational needs require it.
