As a production employee at Van Gelder Groente & Fruit, you will spend every day processing fresh vegetables and fruit. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and according to the highest quality standards. You’ll work together with an enthusiastic team in a clean and modern production environment where hygiene is essential. Your tasks are diverse, so no two days are the same:
- Processing raw vegetables and fruit, such as peeling and removing seeds
- Manually and mechanically cutting vegetables and fruit
- Carefully packaging and repackaging products, both by hand and with machines
- Finishing meal salads and other dishes on the production line
- Manually filling containers according to instructions
- Checking the correct weight and stickers on the products
- Checking that all packaging is properly sealed
- Daily cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools
You will work from Monday to Saturday, with two days off per week. Your workweek is flexible and consists of 5 days. Working hours are in day shifts, starting between 06:00 and 08:00 and finishing between 16:00 and 17:00.

Wat wij vragen
- You have at least mbo (secondary vocational education) work and thinking level
- You preferably have 0 to 2 years of experience as a production employee, operator, or packing employee
- You are precise and have an eye for hygiene and quality
- You are flexible and don’t mind starting early
- You live no more than 50 km from Ridderkerk
