đź’» Your Impact

You will be developing, communicating and implementing business strategies within the Netherlands and France to establish Kaleido as the market leader and insulin therapy of choice. You will be liaising closely with other departments & leaders to ensure quality of Marketing, Training and Operations to maximize profit potential across commercial aspects in both countries. You will also develop mutually beneficial relationships to become the preferred, long term strategic partner.

🔧 What You’ll Take On

In your role, you will:

Commercial Strategy & Market Leadership

  • Develop and execute the national commercial strategy for diabetes solutions (including insulin delivery systems, CGM, pumps, and digital platforms).

  • Drive revenue growth, market‑share expansion, and profitability across all diabetes product lines in the Netherlands and France.

  • Identify national market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive dynamics within the Dutch & French diabetes care landscape.

  • Lead long‑term strategic planning focused on improving patient outcomes, enhancing care accessibility, and addressing the evolving needs of healthcare professionals (HCPs).

  • Grow market share in alignment with SVP of Commercial objectives.

  • Partner and form relationships with all relevant external business partners for distribution or end‑user fulfilment.

  • Understand value drivers, customer needs, and market requirements to identify profitable commercial opportunities.

  • Build outstanding commercial organisation by recruiting, retaining and training all your commercial teams to the highest level, and hold them accountable to excellent execution.

  • Create ViCentra as the company everyone wants to work for in your countries.

P&L Ownership & Business Performance

  • Own the full P&L for the Netherlands and France, delivering both short‑term performance and long‑term strategic growth as agreed with the SVP of Commercial.

  • Work closely with sales analytics to collate and analyse business data to produce robust business plans and recommendations, including associated costs and revenue forecasts.

  • Ensure business activities meet or exceed budget, cost, volume, and efficiency targets (KPIs).

  • Maintain a disciplined approach to accuracy, forecasting, and performance tracking across all commercial activities.

  • Monitor risks to the business and work with the SVP of Commercial and other stakeholders to mitigate them effectively.

Reimbursement, Tendering & Market Access

  • Lead national pricing, reimbursement, and tender strategies to secure broad adoption and sustainable funding for diabetes technologies.

  • Oversee the complete tender lifecycle, including preparation, submission, negotiation, and contract execution.

  • Partner with health economics experts to build payer‑aligned value propositions tailored to Dutch & French reimbursement and procurement requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with EU MDR, national procurement standards, and all relevant healthcare regulations.

External Representation & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the company externally to strengthen brand presence and optimise business development opportunities with Partners, KOLs, Home Healthcare companies, End users and Distributors.

Operational Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide strategic leadership to multidisciplinary teams across sales, in country marketing, clinical education, and support functions.

  • Establish a performance‑driven culture supported by clear KPIs, commercial dashboards, and continuous improvement processes.

  • Drive talent development, coaching, and succession planning within the local organisations.

  • Lead by influence, fostering a high‑performance, innovative, and supportive culture grounded in optimism, resilience, and care for others.

Compliance, Governance & Execution Excellence

  • Ensure all actions and business activities align with regulatory requirements, legal standards, and company policies.

  • Demonstrate accountability and ownership while consistently seeking opportunities to improve processes and add value.

  • Deliver work with a high level of accuracy and within defined timescales, setting the standard for operational excellence.

📌 What You Bring
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MSc Business, Biomedical/Healthcare specialisations) is a strong advantage.

  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within the MedTech, medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare technology sectors.

  • Strong understanding of the Dutch healthcare ecosystem, including hospitals, purchasing groups, GPOs, insurers, and outpatient care networks.

  • In‑depth knowledge of local medical device regulations, including compliance requirements specific to the Netherlands and France.

  • Demonstrated experience launching and scaling medical device solutions in a highly regulated, clinically driven environment.

  • Proven track record in building and executing commercial strategies for medical devices or healthcare technologies, with measurable revenue and market‑share growth.

  • Strong experience establishing partnerships with hospital boards, clinical leaders, procurement teams, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).

  • Ability to translate clinical insights and market feedback into actionable go‑to‑market plans.

  • Skilled in managing long, complex sales cycles typical in MedTech, including tendering, reimbursement pathways, and evidence‑based decision processes.

  • Excellent written and spoken French and English. Dutch would be a big plus!

  • Living in the Netherlands.
