As a Independant Working Chef I you will support our senior staff members in their daily work. From working in the kitchen to being the face of our business for our customers.
You will work under the guidance of our headchef or owner but can also independently manage the kitchen when needed. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow chefs and, if required, supervise kitchen assistants. You will follow established guidelines regarding ingredients, recipes, working methods, and visual presentation. Our restaurant is located in Westfield Mall of the Netherlands.

- Gross salary: €2,750 to €3,250.

- Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.

Tasks
- Selecting and preparing (washing, cutting, mixing, etc.)
- Conducting intermediate checks (doneness, taste, color, etc.) and making adjustments as needed.
- Ensuring consistent quality and hygiene.
- Supervising the work of kitchen assistants and making corrections where necessary.
- Keeping track of stock levels, ordering ingredients, and checking deliveries.
- Daily cleaning of the work environment, kitchen equipment, and workstations.
- Reporting technical faults and resolving minor issues.
- Providing input regarding the composition and adjustments of menus, the menu list, and working methods
