Laboratory Technician Seed Health

SamenvattingFor a routine laboratory in Bergschenhoek, we are looking for a precise and motivated Laboratory Technician Seed Health. In this role, you are responsible for collecting, counting, and preparing vegetable seed samples for Seed Health testing. The work is repetitive and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will work in a team under the guidance of a Senior Technician and Unit Lead and contribute to the quality, safety, and reliability of the laboratory process.Over de functie

As a Laboratory Technician Seed Health, you prepare seed samples on a daily basis that are used in Seed Health analyses. You ensure that samples are correctly counted, processed, and registered according to established procedures and quality guidelines.

You work with systems such as LIMS and MS Office and strictly follow applicable SOPs, ISO/ISTA guidelines, and HSE rules. In addition to preparing samples, you support colleagues with various laboratory activities, such as R&D samples and other process steps.

You actively contribute to a safe, structured, and positive working environment and help ensure the quality of equipment and certifications within the laboratory.

Wat wij vragen

• MBO level 3 or higher
• Very precise, careful, and able to perform repetitive work
• Experience is not required; work attitude and attention to detail are more important
• Basic knowledge of quality processes within a laboratory environment
• Familiar with working according to SOPs, ISO/ISTA, and HSE guidelines
• Good command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Experience with Microsoft Office (required)
• Experience with LabVantage (preferred)
• Team player who can also work independently
