Investor Relations and Shareholder Communications Specialist

As an Investor Relations and Shareholder Communications Specialist at Destinus, you will be a key member of the Strategic Finance and Funding team, helping raise capital, manage investor relationships and create a shareholder communication cycle for this fast-growing unicorn. We are seeking an Investor Relations and Funding Specialist to join our finance team, reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance and Funding. This role will focus on managing investor relationships, supporting funding transactions, and leading clear financial communication with our stakeholder community as we scale our innovative defense solutions.

General Aspects

• Serve as a primary point of contact for current and prospective investors and shareholders
• Maintain regular communication with funding partners, providing updates on company performance and milestones
• Coordinate investor meetings, presentations, roadshows and site visits
• Respond to investor inquiries and information requests in a timely and professional manner
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the investor community

Financial Communication and Reporting

• Prepare investor updates, quarterly reports, and shareholder communications
• Create compelling presentations and materials that clearly articulate financial performance and strategic progress
• Translate complex financial and technical information into accessible narratives for diverse audiences
• Support the preparation of board materials and investor pitch decks
• Assist in drafting capital markets documents in support of transactions

Funding Transaction Support

• Assist in the execution of equity and debt funding rounds
• Assist in the internal readiness projects related to capital events
• Coordinate due diligence processes with investors, lenders, and internal stakeholders
• Help prepare financial documents, data packages and supporting documentation for funding transactions
• Help manage data rooms and investor documentation

Project Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional activities related to investor relations and funding initiatives
• Manage timelines and deliverables for shareholder communications and funding processes
• Work with external advisors including investment banks, legal counsel, and auditors
• Ensure compliance with investor reporting requirements and information rights

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Communications, or related field required
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree/certification preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with ability to convey complex financial information clearly
• Strong financial acumen and ability to understand and explain financial statements
• Excellent organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and financial presentation tools
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
