Safeguard quality at the source – ensuring our suppliers deliver components and services that meet rigorous standards so we can build reliable, high‑performance products every time.

As our Supplier QA Specialist, you take ownership of supplier qualification, monitoring, and auditing, making sure that everything we buy complies with design and quality requirements. You partner closely with Procurement, Engineering, Production, and Quality to translate specifications into clear requirements for suppliers, prevent nonconformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions when issues arise. In this key role within our organisation, you help us maintain high quality standards and build strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers so we can deliver products our customers can trust.

Responsibilities
  • Supplier qualification & performance – Manage the selection and qualification of suppliers to ensure they meet project requirements and company standards. Monitor supplier performance throughout contract execution, maintain an up‑to‑date database of qualifications, certifications, and performance history, and use this information to support sourcing decisions.

  • Specification & quality alignment – Review product and service specifications before release to suppliers to confirm they reflect the required quality standards. Work with design, engineering, and procurement teams to clarify requirements and address quality issues early in the process.

  • Supplier audits & compliance – Plan and conduct regular supplier audits to verify compliance with specifications, purchase orders, and relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001. Document findings, communicate them to internal and external stakeholders, track corrective actions, and support suppliers in developing and following through on improvement plans.

  • Inspection, testing & acceptance – Oversee inspection and testing of procured products to ensure they meet defined quality criteria. Review inspection and test reports for acceptance or rejection decisions, and coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to resolve deviations.

  • Training & continuous improvement – Provide training and guidance to suppliers on quality tools, standards, and specifications to build shared understanding and capabilities. Lead supplier quality improvement projects, using data and analysis to identify root causes, implement process enhancements, and reduce nonconformities over time.

  • Corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) – Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions with suppliers, ensuring that issues are resolved and do not reoccur. Maintain accurate records and reports on CAPA activities and use these insights to drive continuous improvement across the supply base.

Requirements
  • BA or MSc/MBA in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • 3–5 years of experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, or quality control in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • Knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.

  • Proficiency with quality management systems and data analysis tools.

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across cultures and backgrounds.

  • A team player who collaborates well with internal stakeholders (Production, Engineering, Quality, Procurement) and external suppliers.

The role is based in our office, with partial remote work possible, and includes limited travel (up to 10%) to suppliers.

Additionally, depending on the role and its responsibilities we may request a certificate of conduct (VOG) before or during the employment period. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

N.B. All applicants, we realize that this is quite the list and people come with various levels of experience. Don't be afraid to apply even if you feel you don't meet every desired skill. Our mission is a journey and there's plenty to learn on the way!

But of course, you should identify with our core values: We trust, We own it & We aim high.

  • Working for a Great Place to Work® certified company;
