We’re looking for a highly experienced Performance and Recruitment Controller to join a growing firm. This role is focused on raising standards, strengthening processes, and ensuring our hiring approach is efficient, data‑driven, and future‑ready. This is NOT a recruitment delivery role – this is focussing on the assessing and working with the in‑house recruitment team to ad her to strong performance processes and audit processes. You will assess how we hire today, define what “excellent” looks like, and implement practical improvements that deliver measurable results.
Raising the Bar on Recruitment- Design and implement a structured framework that defines best practice across the full hiring lifecycle – from sourcing strategy through to onboarding
- Compare our approach with leading organisations across financial services and technology to ensure we remain competitive
- Continuously evaluate new tools, assessment methods, and AI‑powered sourcing solutions to enhance effectiveness
- Regularly review recruitment workflows to ensure consistency, fairness, and efficiency
- Assess candidate experience, hiring manager engagement, and overall team performance
- Analyse ATS usage, sourcing channel return on investment, interview effectiveness, and decision‑making quality
- Identify friction points and introduce clear, practical improvements
- Define and track key recruitment performance indicators, including time‑to‑hire, quality of hire, source performance, candidate satisfaction, and offer acceptance
- Present clear, insight‑led evaluations to senior leadership, backed by actionable recommendations
- Deliver tangible operational improvements – success in this role is measured by outcomes, not presentations
- 7+ years in talent acquisition operations, recruitment transformation, TA consulting, or leading a recruitment function
- Strong background within financial services or technology environments
- Proven experience enhancing, scaling, or auditing recruitment functions
- Advanced hands‑on experience with modern ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workday, BambooHR, or comparable systems
- Exposure to multi‑site or international hiring environments is advantageous
- A strong interest in AI and emerging technologies – you actively leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other AI‑enabled platforms in your work
- Confident working with recruitment data and translating metrics into strategic decisions
- Comfortable providing direct, evidence‑based feedback at all levels of the organisation
- Deep understanding of hiring across diverse role types, including technical, commercial, and regulatory positions
- Fluent in English; additional languages are beneficial
