For a client based in The Hague, we are seeking a Contracts Advisor to strengthen the Supply Chain Management team.
In this role, you will act as a key link between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring that procurement and contract management activities run efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. You will be involved in managing high-value and high-risk contracts that directly support operational and project activities.
Key responsibilities
- Managing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts, including purchase, rental, service, repair, and logistics agreements
- Ensuring all procurement and contracting activities comply with legal, commercial, and HSEQ requirements
- Supporting contractor management to maintain safe and reliable operations
- Identifying and implementing improvements in contracting and procurement processes
- Managing material and service contracts across various operational areas such as drilling, platforms, IRM, and projects
- Ensuring timely processing and approval of contracts and purchase orders within internal systems
- Collaborating closely with internal departments and external suppliers at different levels
- Monitoring contract performance and addressing risks or issues proactively
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- NEVI or CIPS certification is considered a plus
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience within petrochemical, offshore, or oil & gas environments
- Proven experience managing high-value and high-risk contracts
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Fluent in Dutch and English
