What you will be doing

At Roland Berger we differentiate ourselves by listening carefully to our clients and working intensively with them on tailor‑made solutions. You are responsible for analyzing business challenges, developing data‑driven recommendations, and guiding clients in implementing strategies to drive growth, improve performance, and achieve long‑term objectives. You will be working for national and international clients from a variety of different industries and often will report to senior management.

As a Project Manager at Roland Berger you will:
  • Manage complex projects and be ultimately responsible for large projects (staffed typically with more than three consultants).
  • Coach and develop the consultants in your project teams.
  • Work closely with industry experts at Roland Berger.
  • Contribute to Roland Berger’s knowledge development by capturing insights and drawing lessons from client work.
  • Participate in office‑wide projects (e.g. In‑depth studies on current topics) that further develop Roland Berger or its thinking in a specific area or sector.

Our requirements

  • You have completed an academic university education (i.e. WO).
  • You have > 5 years of experience in strategy and/or management consulting or in strategic and/or operational roles at a large company or in the public sector.
  • Prior involvement in retail, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), agribusiness, energy, utilities, circularity,life sciences, healthcare, chemicals, industrial products and services,technology, media and telecom (TMT), mobility, automotive, investor support or financial servicesis highly advantageous.
  • You have leadership potential and extensiveexperience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.
  • You have technical affinity and commercial insight.
  • You can think analytically and structure arguments clearly.
  • You work with precision.
  • You are open‑minded.
  • You have experience managing others and delegating work to more junior team members.
  • You are familiar with/experienced in (financial) modeling (Excel), visualizing presentations (PowerPoint) and storytelling.
  • You have good oral, written and presentation skills and an excellent command of the English language.
